Year 2011 was a time of the dynamic expansion of the Mana Source. We'd like to thank all people, whose hard work keeps this place and Populous legend alive. We moved website to the faster and more reliable server, we setup new, multilingual website, forums and bugtracker. These were projects which required much effort from us. Thanks to user "Ninja" we have the cool (bull)frog in the corner of this text :) We didn't succed in releasing new program to play online this year but we can promise, that significant work has been done, and there shouldn't elapse much time before public tests.
We think this year was also a good time for Populous community and Populous related projects. Popre finally (first plans related to update of the site were around August 2009) has moved to the new phpbb3 system and, thanks to the Apnea's support, new layout of the site which, although still quite buggy, seems to be better than the previous one. IncaWarrior learned programming and finally fixed many bugs in the mm, introduced by him in the previous updates of the program.
Another significant progress was the patch 1.04, prepared by the Alex, which fixed couple of bugs and limitations of the game. Although Alex left community some time ago and doesn't support his walfadia project any more but his work proves that Populous community is going well, despite missing few clever guys like Alacn, TedTycoon or TeratO.
Populous resurrection was being more and more abandoned this year. On the other hand, new program to play new single player campaign has been released by the "Populous Online" project with the positive feedback of the Populous fans. "Populous Online" project has also moved to the new website and refreshed content of the site.
We believe year 2012 will be even better for Populous community. We wish all of you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Queridos usuarios, les presentamos, tal como lo prometimos hace un tiempo, nuestro nuevo sitio. Junto con este nuevo sitio web los invitamos a encontrar mucha más información disponible sobre nuestros proyectos. Renovamos, además, los links a otros sitios web sobre Populous agregamos soporte para canales RSS.
Populous Mana Source está creciendo, es cada vez más independiente y, sobre todas las cosas, más abierto a ayuda de quienes quieran contribuir. Estamos trabajando en nuestro Multiplayer Platform para brindarles una nueva calidad de juego en línea. Estamos además trabajando para arreglar los errores más críticos del juego. La primer muestra pública del programa será en tan sólo unos meses.
Siempre estamos en la búsqueda de personas que estén dispuestas a dedicar su tiempo libre para hacer del Populous un juego aún más divertido y brindar soporte a la comunidad. Los invitamos a visitar nuestra sección de información sobre el desarrollo y a considerar convertirse en parte de nuestro personal.
Como pueden observar, ahora brindamos soporte a tres idiomas más - Español, Portugués, y Alemán, junto a los ya tradicionales Inglés y Polaco. Muchas personas trabajaron arduamente para materializar este sitio web. Utilizamos el popular Sistema de Gestión de Contenidos Joomla! - para así poder controlar la extensa candidad de datos de nuestro sitio y sus traducciones. Ya tenemos alrededor de 35 artículos, lo que considerando las traducciones nos da un total de ¡más de 170 artículos publicados!
